Sheldon Area Food Pantry
The Sheldon Area Food Pantry is a supplemental food source for families in Iroquois County. We are an all volunteer-servant organization that distributes food every Wednesday from 9 - 11 a.m. The food pantry's mission is to serve any Iroquois County resident who meets the income guidelines and are in need of food. That person (or persons) may receive food every week if needed.
Each week, we will serve anywhere from 50 to 75 families. By the end of the year, we will average close to 65 families a week. We distribute food based on family size and allow our guests to choose food that their family would like and will eat. The Sheldon Area Food Pantry is a ministry of the Donovan United Methodist Church.

FEED THE SHEEP
Birthdays and Anniversaries have a purpose within our worship celebration each Sunday morning. Those who are being celebrated have an opportunity to feed the sheep (an oversized bank). The money collected in this "bank" goes to the Sheldon Area Food Pantry.
