The Donovan United Methodist Women are really the backbone of the church. They meet every month on the fourth Wednesday in the afternoon. Their service identifies the needs within the local community. They are generous with their time, energy and resources in helping those in need within the local community. They organize and serve meals for the annual Turkey supper, Swedish Day luncheon, and Swedish supper. The proceeds go to local missions. They provide funeral luncheons for grieving families (church members as well as those who have been affiliated with the church or community in some capacity). All-in-all, they serve a great purpose for our sisters and brothers within this local community.
